Lucky for him that he was able to get in a trip on the entire Sudbury-White River Line. Those RDC cars just keep breaking down making it like rolling dice for getting a trip on the Sudbury-White River Line. Unfortunately a year ago, I was supposed to have done a roundtrip on the Sudbury-White River route but my RDC set broke down at Cartier and we were sent back to Sudbury. So much for me spending so much money in airfares for making a trip to Sudbury for nothing. I absolutely have no plans anytime soon to get up to Sudbury to ride the route to White River until after those RDCs go. 

It would be nice to have the route extended to Thunder Bay and also even nicer for the route to go back to Toronto and have the Canadian run over it again. Presently, those people who are taking the Canadian to Sudbury have to get off at Sudbury Jct and find their own way into Sudbury proper.

Or take a local transit bus between Capreol and Sudbury. 

They need to send 2 F40's, baggage car, and a HEP-II coach up there to cover the RDC servce, but their maintenance contractor isn't qualified for  it.
