Canadian Railroads > Hudson Bay all the way?

Transtidocs indicates that VIA 693, the "Hudson Bay", traveled from Winnipeg to Churchill, arriving there today. Apparently it skipped a number of stops on the south end (CN) of the route due to the ongoing "infrastructure" (washout?) issues that have been affecting the service for much of the summer. It's diffcult to tell how accurate the tracking has been during this period, but it seems like this might have been the first train that has been able to travel the full distance between Winnipeg and Churchill, though I could very well be wrong. Does anyone know what is actually happeing?

Checking around there is plenty of news about shipping out of the Port, some changes and call for changes in the Management of the Port and not much else. I was able to track the ship shown in the media photos, it apparently left and is now approaching the Port while another ship is at the Port, apparently loading. The commodities discussed are grain and potash. One question is how is the freight moving in and out of the Port.

Also ran across a YT video showing a visit to nearby Port Nelson, that is a bizarre story. Pretty much returning to it's natural minerals.
