Serbian 6 Axle

Made a trip to Belgrade, Serbia in early November and shot this EMD G16, 16 cylinder 567, 1600 hp. They were built from 1958 until 1967. Yugoslavia purchased a boat load. When country dissolved they were split and Serbia got 25 of them. Most are still in service in both freight and some light duty passenger service. The Yugoslavs nicknamed them the Kennedy series.
