European Railroad Discussion > Trains at the station in Sorrento, ItalyDate: 07/07/17 21:26 Trains at the station in Sorrento, Italy Author: lynnpowell Photo taken on June 18, 2017 in Sorrento, Italy. Photo shows the station tracks with two trains. The railway is the "Circumvesuviana Ry.", a 950-mm (3-ft 1-5/8-in) commuter system with five routes radiating out of Naples. The various routes completely encircle Mount Vesuvius. The Naples to Sorrento route has the dubious nick-name of "the pick-pocket train", and tourists are warned against riding the frequent trains on this route.

We stood for about six stops or more, and then things began to empty out. I suppose the pick pockets could work such a situation.
