Murder on the Orient Express (2017) film...
Author: PasadenaSub

Just saw the new Kenneth Branagh version of the film yesterday. Having never seen any previous versions, I was quite impressed with the film. Quite a visual spectacle, in addition to the murder investigation so full of vintage (circa 1935) atmosphere. The massive angular-pilot on the locomotive seemed something right out of Hollywood, and the consist of only 4-cars seemed a bit short. Could the real Orient have had only a 4-car train during this era?

Here's a site with a little background on the filming:

Kenneth Branagh also played a detective in the long running PBS series "Wallander".
