Do Eurostar fares (London - Paris) tend to get more expensive the closer you get to departure date - does it pay to book months in advance?

Thanks.

If you have time before your trip playtest fares on various days. Be very careful to notice if the fares are actually higher as soon as they are posted then drop before rising again. I cannot remember if Eurostar follows that method but there are a few times when booking tickets in Europe where I booked as soon as a ticket was available only to have it come down lower after a couple days.

Book months in advance if you can and avoid peak travel times and the fares will be a fraction of what you'd pay booking only a few weeks or less ahead of your travel date.
