Heavy duty freight in Lithuania
Author: 86235

Taken this afternoon a 2M62M (the second M is for modernised) of Lietuvos geležinkeliai (Lithuanian Railways) on a heavy freight bound for the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad (East Prussia), taken between Kaunas and the border with Kaliningrad Oblast at Kybartai.

Most interesting video.  Definitely heavy duty.
Really like the 2 Cycle sound.

Those CH and tanks would fit right in on a North American RR.  Any idea how many cars were in that train?  It sure looked long.

It had 62 cars, sadly they wouldn't fit on North American narrow gauge track :-)

Grain and oil? Or cement?

Good video. Fun to see a broad gauge train

I am struck by the absense of grafitti!
