A visit i made to the National Tramway Museum at Crich in Derbyshire in September this year

  Tramway Village is a time warp to another era  if you like trolleys this place is a must see

New York Third Avenue # 674    1939-1946  then went to Vienna  under the Marshall Plan and was  withdrawn 1969,.,restored back to its New York identity in 1979

Nice pics, nice collection.  Thanks for sharing.  

I didn't know there were so many historic double decker trams.  

I googled it a few years ago and only found Blackpool and Hong Kong.  (I used to live in Hong Kong, *loved* the trams.  I didn't know they were so unique at the time).

I've never seen a pole reversing wye and didn't even know they existed. I always thought that someone had to get out and move the trolley pole. That's a great video!

The "boat" trams were built for Blackpool.   Yes, there are some (two I think) that have made their way to San Francisco.   Crish has an example (in the picture) and there are even some still in Blacpool.
