on board was a bit chilly going through those tunnels but an experience not to be forgotten

i hope they put on the service  again next year for the spring summer season

What with the loco and older rolling stock, looks like a scene from years ago.  Hard to believe shot a short time ago.  Last scene with the circle group has me puzzled - almost looks like a mooning session!

Another line i toook was to Arosa from Chur the scenery on this route was again something special

i heard once somewhere that Switzerland was just like  one giant train set

Thanks Dave for providing these photo's.   Its truly a rails dreamland for passenger railroading in the mountains.

I remember riding a open car similar to this one back in summer of 1954.

Side rod locomotives were normal in this region for many years..
