The location is just here on the left bank, in the old docks area of Central Hamburg

I visited Minatur Wunderland in September and was blown away. In the American section, I enjoyed seeing the good 'ol Boston & Maine, and the California Northern engine arriving in Key West, Florida (!). We spent three hours there, but easily could have stayed longer.

Damn!!  Looks like l need a return visit!  Spent a day here a couple of years ago- you need a day just to watch the operational airport. Thanks for the photos. Chris uk.

Even though we all love trains, the airport is the coolest part. I only had about 4 hours there and it could have easily been twice that much. Some of what you photographed I don't even recall seeing. It's impossible to see everything. The amount of Preiser figures is staggering including a full football stadium. They must keep the company in business.
