I had a little extra time and . . . All taken July 11,1965.

The V200's are considered to be the nicest looking diesels by many German railfans, and they are indeed classics. Regarding the question on paint, these would have been in dark red, with gray top, and silver/chrome stripes.

Perhaps moving to a training site? In my time (60-63) I think 3rd Div was part of V Corps and 4th Div was part of VII Corps. Looks like you had the 'newer' Jeep: M-151? (What did S&T stand for on bumper markings?) We still had M37's, M38's (as I recall)

I was stationed at Stuttgart Army Airfield from 63-65 when I rotated back the Alabama.
