Italian Juice
Author: burlingtonjohn

Back in 1982, Uncle Sam's Navy sought fit to station me aboard USS Puget Sound in Gaeta Italy. Many was the time that I would take a cab (or bus) to Formia to the train station for a ride to Roma or Napoli or just to railfan. The locals didn't seem to mind a yank taking pictures as it was pretty evident that I was an American.  I THINK this picture was taken in Naples (or Napoli) in 1983. I have no clue as to the heritage, juice horsepower, etc. But for a kid from Northeast Missouri, I thought it was a cool shot!

Regards,
Burlington John

I have a strange attachment to these early boxy electrics. No aesthetics, pure function.
