Those Czech 4-8-2s are extraordinary machines. Back in 2014 I chased 498.104, one of the most modern of the type, operated by the Albatros Klub in Bratislava, Slovakia.

I just posted another shot I took of the side of the cab, with me in it.  Its in the same thread.  I always thought they were among the best looking engines in Europe.
Some American traits I would say.
