European Railroad Discussion > Lyd & Lyn, together at lastDate: 04/13/19 14:39 Lyd & Lyn, together at last Author: 86235 For the first time since 1935 a Manning Wardle 2-6-2T has double headed a train with a Baldwin 2-4-2T. Back then it was on the Lynton and Barnstaple section of the Southern Railway, today it was on the Welsh Highland Railway in NW Wales when visiting L&B Baldwin replica Lyn (Alan Keef 2017) double headed the Snowdonian with Ffestiniog / Welsh Highland regular Lyd (Boston Lodge 2010). Here they are on the final leg of their 50 mile round trip approaching Poo Corner.
