A Slovakian station
Author: 86235

Taken yesterday, this is the station building at Roznava, a medium sized town in southern Slovakia, on the secondary mainline between Kosice and Bratislava via Zvolen. It's very period (1970s) with some excellent detail styling. Sadly the upstairs cafe / restaurant is closed.

Ha ha, yes it's certainly from the Central Committee School of Architecture but what I like is the detail, it's very well done.

Vladivostok.  When was your last trip to eastern Europe or Russia, to see what's really out there?

Two photos from May 7, 2018. One year ago today:
1) Moscow Vystavochnaya station.

2) Just up the escalators are shopping & restaurants. Note the Starbucks.
