New overnight train from Moscow too..... Moscow
Author: GettingShort

Probably the least expensive way to get a bed for the night in Moscow. A bed in a two birth room is about $35 and in third about $10. Looks like it departs from Kievsky station and returns to Paveletsky. Looks like fun.

Sounds like fun!  Thanks for the tip - maybe for my 2021 Trans Siberian trip!

Probalby faster than a taxi ride in Moscow traffic!

Can somebody show a map of where this train goes?  Seems like an odd routing.

Nice find, looks like it really can be done. On the RZD website, here's the route with station names in English:

Approximate route (highway-based) on Google Maps. Makes counter-clockwise loop south of Moscow:

1st class sleeper (2 per compartment) about $42. 2nd class sleeper (4 per) about $13. 3rd class (open sleeper) about $18. Go figure.

Eight-car train, no food service.

There's a number of YouTube videos about the route. Example is Yulia Akimenko's "Train 603 from Moscow to Moscow. Overview 1-cl. sleeping compartment"
