SNCF 1991, Part 2, Nice

After spending a few days in Paris, we took the TGV down to Nice.  It was a good ride despite being in trouble for leaving something behind at our hotel in Paris. 

Pic # 1 was our train after arrival.

Pic # 2 shows quite a contrast between new and old.

More from Nice.  We booked a hotel next to the famous Hotel Negresco and were lucky in getting a waterfront room that was unused at the time at no extra cost. That saved me for my earlier mistake.  FWIW, the item left behind was shipped down by the hotel in Paris and arrived in time. Whew...

Great set. I love these big arched French train sheds. Lots of eye candy to stare at between trains.
