Caledonian sleeper formation
Author: phlone

Can anyone kindly advise if a lounge car is in the formation of all three Highland branches of this train?  I am particualrly interested if one is in the train to and from Fort William.
Thanks in advance,
ACF

We had the lounge car on the Fort William train a few years back. Can't speak for the other segments. It was nice to have a place to hang out other than the bedroom as the train didn't arrive until later in the morning. On the lowland sleeper, it's really not needed.

Yes, it's called the 'Club Car'. Priority access is for those staying in a club or double room... but I dare say anyone on the trian can get into it at some time.. I think it's on all the trains...

The Fort William portion consists of just two sleepers to which are added a club car and a seating car when the trains are divided at Edinburgh in the wee small hours.
