European Railroad Discussion > European Railway Station Where is it No. 28Date: 05/03/20 03:13 European Railway Station Where is it No. 28 Author: andersonb109 Scraping the bottom of the barrel for this one. Not the most attractive station in Europe for sure. The flag will give away the country. This large station once hosted a restaurant, and huge waiting room. Now traffic is just a few rail cars per day.

That would be Kardzali, Bulgaria, on the Dimitrovgrad - Podkova line: https://goo.gl/maps/T5CF9h4xwZFFkEtn9 I'm guessing you were there for a steam charter...did the Class 46 run up there? There are cab ride videos on YouTube covering the entire line! Date: 05/03/20 06:50 Re: European Railway Station Where is it No. 28 Author: andersonb109 No. I was there in 2014. It hasn't been restored yet. There was a further charter I about two years ago where it was in action. I didn't do that one. They wanted to run a freight but there was some issue with passengers being on the train in a van so much of the photography was done by boat which didn't appeal. Photos are from the 2014 charters.
