Poppies seem so unpredictable. All of a sudden, a field of them will appear. That happened near where I live, so nipped out for some morning trains. A High Speed Train is working empty stock from Leeds to Sheffield, to take up its East Midland Railway service to London. Followed by a Leeds to Sheffied 'local' with a pair of class 158 diesel units. Photos taken just south of Wakefield.   chris uk.

Very nice Chris, poppies seem to have erupted in the last few days since we've had all that rain.

Nice to see my old commuter patch again after many years traveling on the 0628 Sheff-Leeds and 1648/1748 Leeds-Sheff services between Swinton and Leeds. The pics look like they were taken around Hare Park Junction?

Not too much commuter action for me now though, living 40 miles south of Atlanta, GA!

Nice colours and compostion KOYLI!
