Author: 86235

A few pictures from the last week, since the start of Spring on March 1st.

1: The daily train of metallurgical coal from Cwmbargoed to Port Talbot steelworks with the Ffos y fran coal washery beyond
2: Another training run of one of Transport for Wales Mk4 sets
3: 66590 on Sunday afternoon's extra from East Usk Yard in Newport to Moreton on Lugg stone loading facility. That's Ysgyryd Fawr, the Holy Mountain in the background.

Interesting contrast between the coal washery in the background ... and the solar collector field right next to it.

Another good set, Nick. Those TFW Mk4 sets look good. I would hope to get a ride on those, one of the few decent trains left now.  chris uk

Excellent scenes.  Countryside is beautiful.
Video of Class 66 is oustanding.  Sounds great.
