European Railroad Discussion > Poland, Part 18. Wroclaw south to the Czech borderDate: 10/18/21 02:57 Poland, Part 18. Wroclaw south to the Czech border Author: gobbl3gook Boarding at the Wroclaw central station. October 2019
1) train platform 2) arrival marquee. 9 arrivals in the next hour. Very busy station. (I seem to not have taken a departures photo, the more interesting panel). (I recall spending frustrating time at the information booth below, though I don't recall exactly what's I was trying to figure out. Probably how to get a ticket on an obscure local train to eastern CZ when most folks are headed for places like Prague) 3) full grocery store in the ststion! I loved this station. Big, pretty train hall. Spacious clean restrooms. Grocery store. I think I came one day to scout it out and figure out train options, then the next day to board a train south. Edited 2 time(s). I don't recall if this was my train or not.
5) Rail system map. Always take a photo whenever you see a rail system map! I think I was on line D28. 6) good bicycle stowage. Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 10/18/21 03:17 by gobbl3gook. Date: 10/18/21 03:04 Re: Wroclaw, Poland south to the Czech border Author: gobbl3gook Bonus photos -- murals
