Over 20 cars are beautifully restored and nicely displayed inside.
1. & 2. The electrical distribution wing of the building has been left just as it was. 3. This is the view as you enter the main hall, formerly the location of the power plant's boilers and stationary steam engines. The cars are arranged so that one can get a good view of each one.
5. Looking back toward the entrance from the middle of the hall. 6. An example of the beautiful condition of the exhibits. 7. In the 1950s, this car was "streamlined" to make it more appealing to the public. However, inside it was still the same old 1900-era tram, and no more were modified. 8. An overhead line car for working on the trolley wire, with a motor flat behind it. 9. This little car would be towed behind a tram, loaded with wicker baskets of fresh fish headed to market.
