Czech Republic Part 5. Fast trains meeting, Usti nad Orlici
Author: gobbl3gook

I had an hour or so layover in Usti nad Orlici.

On three different ocassions I had nonstop passenger trains meet at it near the station.

it was very impressive!

I got two of the meets on video.

Unfortunately the most impressive meet video seems to be list in The Cloud.  I only have a screenshot of the opening frame.

1) Meet near the station
2) local train stopping at the station
3) screenshot of the video of the meet at the station.

The yellow train is operated by RegioJet, an open access operator in Czech Republic.  It was proabably a Prague- Ostrava(eastern Czechia) intercity.  They also operate an extensive bus network in Europe.  As suggested go to YouTube and look for Pete Brandy.  He and others have many videos on RegioJet.  You can also check them out by doing a search.  The first train was a SC(Super City) Pendolino operated by CD, the Czech state owned railroad.  You can also find that train under Pete Brandy.

RegioJet has expanded beyond the Czech Republic in recent years, these are their plans for expansion in Poland next year according to Man at Seat61

- New day train Warsaw - Vienna;
- New sleeper train Vienna/Bratislava - Warsaw & Prague - Warsaw;
- New sleeper train Prague - Krakow/Przemyśl (-Lviv);
- Seasonal night train 3 per week Warsaw-Brenner.
