From Zurich airport to Zurich HB take any train that indicates next stop Zurich HB.  About a 12 minute trip. Tickets or rail pass required.  After a long flight this was our train to Zurich HB.

Gorgeous trainset; I look at what European countries enjoy as a matter of course, then at America's halting, half-baked approximations of modern rail passenger transport, and shake my head. As Django used to say, tomorrow, maybe...!
 

Switzerland has some of the highest taxes in the world and also some of the highest prices. 

Thae Zurich airport has an exceptionally convenient connection to the train.  My wife and I had a few hours between arriving, and then departing for Istanbul.  Take the train into the city, go for a walk, ride a tram, have a beer, and go back to the airport.

This train appears to be so long that I wondered if the front end was half way to Zurich HB already - LOL.

Yes. I believe the law limits a worker to 45 hours per week.  And requires a minimum of four weeks vacation.  Switzerland also has an excellent medical system for all citizens, funded by payroll taxes.

Switzerland is a Developed Country.

It appears that in the new trainsets they have continued equipping the restaurant cars with a pantagraph to recharge the batteries during station stops.

highest prices: yes,absolutely!   Highest taxes: no, not at all!! Not comparable to the Nordic countries, even Germany. Swiss taxes are much lower (I kow - I pay swiss taxes ;-)    ×

Yes. It is also one of the more heavily armed countries in the world, although gun violence (other than suicide) is low. Universal military conscription for all men, after service and training you are given a weapon to take home with you.  You qualify regularly with your weapon while you are on militia / reserve status.

The trainset is a pair of RABe 500 tilting 7-car EMUs on a St. Gallen to Geneve IC service. So there would be a pair of Restaraunt cars, one in each set.

High Prices maybe. Taxes no. 

Of course it depends on which Canton you live in, Jura is relatively high, Zug is relatively low.

And the overall population is far happier and more satisfied with life.

True but the OP is not correct on the taxes. I live in Switzerland and tax is quite low. Comparable to the US.
