45305 at Switland Sidings on the Great Central Railway

LMS Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 5305 is seen here at Swithland Sidings on the Great Central Railway, the UK's only double track mainline heritage railway. It's the only place in the world where full-size steam engines can be seen passing each other, just as it was when steam ruled the rails.

5305 was built in Newcastle in 1936 by Armstrong Whitworth and spent most of its career based in North-West England. After nationalisation in 1948, British Railways renumbered the loco as 45305.

Very nice.  Being in b&w makes it even more believable as having been from another era.

Fantastic, a really good "period" feel about it.
