For the evening return the Northern Belle was slotted in between the evening loco hauled 1W96 Cardiff to Holyhead and the 6Z51 timber train, which preceeded an empty stone train bound for Moreton on Lugg 3: 1W96 Cardiff to Holyhead Date: 04/10/22 05:29 Re: Loco hauled excitement on Thursday Author: 86235 4: 57316 with two of the 1960 built Metropolitan Cammell Pullman cars based on the BR Mk 1 frame and body style. These Pullmans (44 were built) were the first passenger cars in the UK to use the English Steel Castings design Commonwealth bogie (truck). ESC was a subsidiary of General Steel Castings.
