A sombre reminder
Author: 86235

Crossing the Usk yesterday in Newport, South Wales on the 10:23 Swansea to London Paddington is 800 306, Great Western's World War One memorial set. Apart from the poppies at the doors it contains along the strip below the windows the names, grades, location of all those GWR employees killed in WW1 and the dates and place of their death (where known).
