During the summer season, heritage operator West Coast Railways operates two steam trains per day between Fort Williams and Mallaig in the Scottish Highlands. On September 14, 2022 the westbound morning train is seen passing through Banavie and crossing the swing bridge over the Caledonian Canal. This train also crosses the Glenfinnan Viaduct made famous in the Harry Potter movies. The photo lines that form on the hillsides surrounding the viaduct are the largest that I have ever seen and it happens four times per day.

Beautiful train and location!  The West Highland line, which has branches to Mallaig and Oban, is a real treasure.  I rode it as part of a loop through the Highlands as a BritRail pass carrying backpacker in 1979.  Highly recommended - if you can't afford the Jacobite, or are outside their season, Scotrail also operates local trains over the line, originating at Glasgow Queen Street.
