Thanks for the video.  Does all the iron ore production in the region move west to Narvik or is
some moved east to Swedish ports?  Are there any all rail routings to Europe?  I was impressed
to read that over 90% of all iron ore extraction in Europe comes from this one area.

Some Iron Ore moves east to Luleå, but that port is not ice-free in the winter.

I was wondering if Kiruna was finally emptied of its citizens, all the utilities removed and  and the houses razed?

 Heres hoping we see those electric Bombardier locomotives on the west coast.

Kiruna, last October.  A goodbofvthevtown has been raised but there was still a good ways to go.

I am sorry to see these citizens lives uprooted and being forced to move but its safer than waking up to 
an earthquake and a sink hole with a collapse of the ground under them.

A good bit of Butte, Montana ended up demolished for pit expansion back in the 1950s and 60s. It's part of life in a mining town.
