European Railroad Discussion > ICE-3 Frankfurt to Amsterdam

The European Board has been pretty quiet of late, so here's a post from a Frankfurt Flughaven - Amsterdam Central trip I made on September 11, 2015.

(1) Equipment was an NS (Dutch) ICE-3 used in international service.  The train reversed direction at Cologne HBF.

(2) Cologne Cathedral from the station platform.

(3) I had the "railfan seat"  - directly behind the engineer.  The glass wall can be made opaque by the engineer, but fortunately this one chose not to do so.
