French funicular

The town of Bourg Sainte Maurice is connected to the Les Arcs ski area by this funicular. It's clumsy to ride in ski boots, as the floor keeps changing angle. But it's well worth it. With a ski pass, you can ride for free.

This video is closer to the bottom. You can see the main train station at the bottom, to the left.

The turnouts look as though only the wheels on one side have flanges and that they must have flanges on both sides. Is that so?
