It sounded like new passing Nantwich in the evening sun... took me right back to the 1980s when these "peaks' were employed on virtually all trans-Pennine passenger trains between Liverpool and Newcastle. Nice work!

Good shots and video, Nik. I went to Wakefield in the evening for its return to Leeds. Heavy rain, and sounded wonderful as it climbed away up he 1 in 100. chris uk.

Out of Kettering on the return ‘Master Cutler’ railtour last week, she was superb all the way to Leeds.

Great day out for me and the rest of the ‘Peak Army’

On to Somerset on Wednesday for some 45 108 action at their Diesel Gala.
