One of Rome's several streetcar lines serves Roma Termini, the main train station, and uses older equipment with more character than the modern replacements that are ever more common. The line that passes near the Colosseum was using modern trams on a line with some impressive hills but I did not make time to photograph that line.

1. Swinging around a sharp corner on cobblestone streets, a tram arrives at the Roma Termini station which is visible in the background.
