GBRf 66749 hauls a string of intermodal containers through Acton Yard on a clear spring day, its bold blue-and-yellow livery catching the morning sun. The ubiquitous Class 66 continues to be the backbone of the UK’s freight operations.

Nice shot. GBRf have taken delivery of their first class 99s recently.... they're intended to start replacing the 66s. They are dual mode locos (diesel and electric) made by Stadler in Spain and they will have class 66 performance using their diesel prime mover but can also run on overhead electric catenary to produce 8000hp.
