Turns out Part 7 was not the last installment - forgot to post some rail transit photos from Marseille and Avignon.

1)  Marseille M2 Metro train at Rond-Point Du Prado.  The Marseille Metro is rubber-tyred, and runs very frequently.   
2)  Onboard the Marseille Metro.  Marseille is a very diverse city with a large population from North Africa.  Very good North African food available!
3)  RTM #45 bus, which I took to the Unité d'Habitation from Rond-Point du Prado.

4) Here's the Unité d'Habitation that I went to see, one of the first high-rise concrete residential structures, designed by Le Corbusier and built between 1947 and 1952.  A must-see sight for architects and planners!
5)  Another M2 train.  
6)  RTM tram on the T2 line at Réformés Canebière.    The trams are customized Bombardier Flexity Outlook trams, that have been redesigned with a nautical flair.

8)  Interior of one of the Marseille trams. 
9)  Leaping north - here's one of the trams on the Avignon system on the T1 line, running alongside the old city wall.  These trams are Alstom Citadis Compact vehicles.  

And I think that's really all from this trip!
