Train derailed in Spain, fatalities reported.

According what I’m reading on local news here in Los Angeles is trained derailed and sounds like it hit another train which was one of the euro high-speed trains.

Looks to me that the last cars on the northbound train picked a crossover switch at speed with the these cars than derailing onto the southbound track and then hit 20 seconds later by a southbound train.

Per a picture the BBC the was a 15 inch gap in the inside rail that had broken out. It was just luck the the front of the train made it through.
