in the Union Corner wing of the station. The fire originated in a Vape shop located in the retail portion of the facade. The Union Corner was built in 1851 predating the station headhouse and hotel by 28 years. The station is currently closed. The building next door is the one that burned and the fire wall between them seems to have worked. This per the BBC.
