European Railroad Discussion > First Great British Railways Train in New Colors

The first Great British Railways train in the new livery has been unveiled in a press
event in Brighton.  Southern EMU 387172 displays the new look in a photo from the 
European-based site Railcolornews.com.  Southern(part of Govia Thameslink Railway)
transitions to public operation at the end of this month.

Note the "Southern" lettering on the side of the train indicating that the old franchise
names will retain some identity under the overall GBR branding.

Wow there is a lot going on in that paint scheme!  Very busy.  I tend to think simpler schemes work better but then they didn't ask me...
