1. On Day One we met an eastbound train at Tua. It featured one stainless, one heritage blue, and two red and white carriages. Tua is another town that had a meter-gauge line branching off to the north. Some meter-gauge trackage appeared to remain.

2. On Day Two I captured the arrival at Regua of our eastbound train that we would take to Pinhão. This was the same trainset that we rode in on from Pocinho the prior day. These cars, one badly graffitied, are lettered for the national railway museum which is in Entrocamento, NNE of Lisbon.

3. On Day Three I recorded the arrival of the morning westbound train which featured a solid stainless steel consist and well more capacity than was required. In principle, the cars with the yellow stripe are second class while the rear car is first class but I don't think there was any difference in the interiors and not sure anyone was paying any attention to which class.

Interesting stuff. Nothing like dropping anchor in that first clip.

Thanks for posting these.  As for the yellow stripe on some coaches, I'm certainly not saying you are wrong as I'm not there, but throughout Europe otherwise, a yellow stripe indicates first class.
