The Subway in Sofia, Bulgaria

I also went underground to ride and shoot Sofia's fine subway system. As they started building part of the system they discovered the long-forgotten remains of the ancient Roman City here, and those ruins are now incorporated into the subway stations as a museum to their past.

Both the trams and the subway was clean, puntual, well patronized and a delight to ride as I explored the beautiful city of Sophia!
