1. A standard gauge SNCF double 4-car (8 cars total) EMU train is about to depart. 2. Meter-gauge (39.4 inches) SNCF Mont Blanc Express MoW unit #4 shoves a flat car into the yard. It can operate off 3rd-rail, catenary or its own diesel. 3. This looks like every subway/elevated train facility I’ve seen. 4. Three-car EMU Class Z850 #55 is stopped at the station. We take it back n/b to the chalet. 5. The middle car has a map of the French side. 12. This is the main station of the entire Mont Blanc Express. 13. The n/b 2-car EMU Class Z800 #3 is stopped at the station. The Z800 class is planned to be retired next year. 14. #3 departs at 11:27.
