1. A Panoramic Train locomotive runs around its train at the minifunic’s lower station. 2. It’s a big lake. 3. The Vieux-Emosson Dam is above the Emosson Dam. It was immediately recognized when it was completed in 1955 that it was inadequate, so planning started for the Emosson Dam. It’s still in use That’s a restaurant on the hill in front of the dam. 4. We take the minifunic down to the Panoramic Train. From the Lower minifunic Station 5 & 6. We just miss a departure, but here it is about to meet the next train that is stopped in a siding on the other side of a tunnel. 10 & 11. We get the front seat for the meet. Les Montuires 12. These are battery-electric locomotives, and they must have a lot of battery because there is no time to recharge them between runs which start immediately after the passengers board the train.
