John was one of the steam locomotive greatest fan, and part of High Iron Co. for a number of years. He worked for years to return a loan of the DL&W Camelback to the Lackawanna property without success and was an executor of George Hart estate. His signal turned red during his sleep Aug 29th in his home in Washington, NJ. http://obits.lehighvalleylive.com/obituaries/etpa/obituary.aspx?n=john-w-willever&pid=186530586&fhid=27024. His funeral service will be Sept. 6, 2017.

John was a dear friend and lifelong steam lover and advocate. I will be honored to give his eulogy tomorrow and hope many of his fellow steam lovers attend.
