Retired SP/UP Conductor Al Esgana passed away today due to complications of West Nile Disease that he contacted where he lived in Glendora,Calif. He came down with it this past April and had been hospitalized and bed ridden at a facility ever since. God Bless you Al. And prayers to your wife and family.

That's a shame to hear. He was a good guy and always a pleasure to work with.

Am sorry to hear about Al. He was bedridden for along time with this virus. Al is always cool to work with never got angry or pissed off. Another SP brother to fall. RIP

Sorry to hear about Al. I used to bump into him once in a while because I live in Glendora too. Never knew that he had West Nile Virus though. He was pleasant to work with. Condolences to his family.
