searching for grandfathers employment records
Author: JasonCNW

My grandfather Paul Chadourne Sr. was a long time CNW fireman and conductor working out of Proviso Il. and Clinton Ia. I think he also did a stint on the Santa Fe in Chillicothe Il.

I would like to find out more information on his employment history. I have been in contact with the CNW Historical Society and they found an old photo of him but so far thats it.
Where else would be a good starting point for railroad employment records? My Grandfather retired in 1971 off the last Kate Shelley 400 between Chicago to Clinton.
Thanks for any help.
