Union Question-Which One

I am trying to fill in a big blank in the life of my long-departed uncle.  The family lore as I remember it, is that he worked as a Baggage Handler for the Illinois Central Railraod in Chicago at the 12th Street Station.  As a WWII vet (USA) he would have retired in the 60's.  If this information is correct, what union would he have been in?

Probably the Brotherhood of Railway, Airline and Steamship Clerks,  Freight Handlers, Express and Station Employees.
