Railroaders' Nostalgia > Trains Magazines annual index for all of the 1950's & 1970'sDate: 10/23/19 13:45 Trains Magazines annual index for all of the 1950's & 1970's Author: DMac Sure hope this might be the correct forum to post this request. If not as time permits perhaps someone might suggest another site.
Lookin for a site that might have all 30 indexes for 1950 - thru 1979 (sum 30 years), I have the 39 years from 1980 - 2K18. These indexes are an incredible source of reference for research. On the website: TRAINS > magazine > Annual Index .... 1980 through 2018 are available via pdf. In my personal archive: Before we knew was a .pdf was, I collected paper indexes from loose issues 1970 ~ 199x, now in page protectors in a 3-ring binder. I have 17 of the 30 volumes from 1940~1970, in the stiched, red (or brown) board. Those indexes remain with the volumes. Searching for "California Zephyr" in the 1950's or "Conrail", for example, can span multiple volumes ... and often leads to Easter-egg discoveries of other interesting features and photos. You could get that.
