I won't go into all of the details, but this photos shows Scotty - our yard helper - at his absolute peak. (He is not the one throwing the switch.) WPRR Albany Yard, June 25, 2007.
I will say that I first met Scotty when he was a teenager. He would hang out at one of our outlying depots and his mom would bring cake and ice cream for us to enjoy. Scott wanted to work for the railroad. And he did, starting where you see him, advanced to dispatch, got married and had kids, made the move to dispatch out to St. Albans when the company did that and then decided he needed to come home where he briefly was a trainmaster. Author: engineerinvirginia On CSX you'd likely be fired for switching from a seated position....not that there's a specific rule....but trainmasters have a quota and it certainly looks suspicious!
