Three on the Santa Fe for "Twenty Tuesday."
Author: tehachcond

Here's three I shot over the of Santa Fe's EMD GP20's.  One was at Mojave on the Tehachapi Line, and two were shot on Cajon Pass.

1.  A Geep-20 is on the point of an eastbound at Mojave.  This train is about to turn on to the Santa Feline to Barstow. 1985.

2.  a "20 on a westbound a mile or so east of Summit, on Cajon Pass in 1979.

3.  This old girl is starting to show her age.  Juist west of Summit on an eastbound.  1990.

Thanks for looking, and as always, comments welcome.

Santa Fe was one of the few roads to keep the turbo when they rebuilt their GP20's.

Nice pictures.

If I count the fuel tanks right, there are 10 units in the top photo. I'd have hated to have to tie that consist down.

Nice bunch. That's quite a few twenties in that first consist. Very unusual. Six mixed geep consists were normal for Tehachapi.
